Outdoor saunas come in two kinds. Infrared saunas warm your body directly with heater panels, run cooler and plug into a 240V outlet. Traditional saunas heat the air with a stove for that classic high-heat, steam-on-the-rocks feel, and are hardwired. These four outdoor models from Sun Home cover both.
Full-spectrum infrared with a cedar interior, aluminum exterior and a fitted all-weather cover. Up to 170°F. Arrives on a pallet at the curb; plan on about half a day for two people to assemble.
Optional red light therapy add-on for either Luminar: $1,699.
Handcrafted to order in Europe in thermo-alder with a HUUM Wi-Fi heater, up to 230°F. Delivered fully built, so you need a level pad that can take the weight and a clear path to it. Lead time is about 3–4 months.

| Base | Put it on a level, solid surface. The Solaris needs a load-bearing pad rated for its full weight, with about 6 in of clearance on each side. |
| Permits | Some towns treat an outdoor sauna as an accessory structure. Check with your local building department. |
| Delivery | Shipping is free in the US. Luminar arrives at the curb, so plan how you'll move about 1,000 lb of panels to the site. |
